Greenwich

“I care about every person I work with. Regardless of what brings you to Performance, my goal is to help you achieve your goals.”

Billy Yogan, PT, DPT, AOTC, is a physical therapist based in Greenwich who specializes in sport and orthopedic rehab. Billy also has a particular interest in working with the spine, as back pain is the most common reason people seek medical help, but the spine can also influence so many other orthopedic and neurological conditions. In addition, Billy has worked with athletes of all ages and backgrounds, from the recreational to Olympic level, and he loves being a part of their return to the health and wellness activities they enjoy.

Billy holds an Advanced Orthopedic Triage Certification from the Hospital for special Surgery, designated for clinicians who effectively and efficiently triage direct access patients following injury or pain prior to being seen by a medical doctor.

While at Touro University, Billy became involved as a teaching assistant in the Geriatrics Lab where he instructed fellow physical therapy students on the use of objective measures to safely restore older adults to independence in their home and community. He also became involved in research that focussed on identifying risk factors for falls in older populations. Billy completed his clinical affiliations in Fairfield County, most notably with Performance Optimal Health and Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), where he had the opportunity to learn and practice under the guidance of several sport and orthopedic board certified clinicians.

Billy's diverse background stems from his passion to help each of my patients, wherever they are on their rehab journey. Whether it be to improve gait and balance or return to Olympic level sport, his favorite person to work with is the person that wants to get better.
